my washer stops before the final spin cycle and tub is full of water.when it stops there is a humming noise that lasts for 20 seconds. it sits for a while and resets like an overload switch would,sometimes works sometimes not. i replaced the timer which seemed to help at first but im still having the problem.

Hi. Remove the drain pump and try without it. Then pull out the motor from the transmission and see if it'll work (you will have to bypass the lid switch). Check the plug at the motor - jiggle the wires a bit. Use the video for disassemble instructions Part number: 285753A
