It will take the oven about 30 minutes to heat up to 350. The oven flame doesn't look robust - It looks small. Also, the gas is making a sputtering sound through the oven burner when the oven heat is on. I replaced the dual safety valve. It seemed to help some but not much. It is still sputtering and the flame still looks small. I have checked the lines from the manifold to the burner and they are all clear. What's next?
Thanks.

Hi.

You should check the oven ignitor' s amperage draw. The normal is 3.25amp.If it is less - replace the ignitor. See if you can adjust the burner's orifice.

The ignitor bake Part number: 415504
Part number: 415504

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Thermador PRG364GDUS GAS RANGE | AppliancePartsPros.com

PS. Is the broil works OK?

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

Thank you for the reply. That was exactly the problem. I felt a bit stupid. I posted that query late the evening after fighting that and another unrelated problem all day and I was too tired to think. I did a search the next morning and found the answer you ended up providing here. That was too easy - but not cheap. A clear example of the adage about experience being based on good judgement that is the result of learning from bad judgement.
Thanks again. Have a good day.
