Oven is very slow to heat often will not reach 425 temperature. During pre heat it makes a clicking noise, element gets bright red, click element dims, click element bright red again. I compared it to my neighbors and it seems that his element stays bright red 3 times longer than mine between clicks. Might it be a bad sensor?

I cannot find any tech data on your unit so the below is just general info.
If the only problem is long preheat times then I doubt it is your temperature sensor. For instance if you set it to 350 and it takes a long time to get there but does come out of preheat and maintains the oven temperature then the sensor and the control board are doing their job.
I would check that the broil element is working. Many units use both the broil and bake elements and switch back and forth between them. They often also use both after preheat as this gives a more even heat profile in the oven. |

My problem is similar to this one. model MER5755QAW, MAC, 2000.
What else could be the problem if I replaced the bake element and still is slow to heat? Please, help.
