First time the Dryer is turned on, burner comes on and goes out (stays on for "normal" amount of time). When the burner tries to light again, ignitor glows and occasionally the burner lites. Approximately every 4 or 5 time, the burner lites. Replace the thermostat and thermal cut-off. Coils on burner deflective?

Most likely the problem is a bad gas valve coils. This is very common problem with all gas dryers. - The coil kit Part number: 279834
