unable to get a timer for my oldie but goodie maytag dryer. the dryer is in excellent condition and i would hate to have to scrap it but can't find a timer model number ASP452836.any suggestions would be appreciated i have looked thru hundreds of sites for maytag parts and they have no record of the model let alone the part number. model is HE806 i hate to have to become part of the disposal consumer when the dryer is in such great shape otherwise thanks

I haven't been able to find that model or part number either. I did find a DE806 and a few others. Does the tag on the timer have any other numbers on it?

the model number is a DE806 on the literature and a HDE806 on the dryer door but still can't even find the model number on line so any help would be appreciated

Try AP81888. It's a timer for ME8033.

By looking up the DE806 model it does not show a timer, only a control (part #AP285949) and a microcomputer ( AP3155504). I never had the chance to work on it, but my grandmother had one of those when I was a kid.....lol Nat
