Dryer spins up, but, will not heat. I have 110v coming down on red lead, and the return wire appears to switch when push to start button is depressed. I have continuity on the flame sensor and I tested the glow ignitor with a cheater cord, it heated up to red and glowing. I measured about 500 ohms across the 2 connector coil and about 1500 across the 3 connector coil. Are these coils bad? Do you know where I can get a electrical schematic? Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat The first thing I would check is the thermal fuse on the back of the dryer behind the cover. It's located on the air duct. Replace it if it's open. According to the manufacturer recommendation, if the thermal fuse is blown, the cycling thermostat has to be replaced too. It's located next to the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse The cycling thermostat - The part number for the thermal fuse AP3132867 - The part number for the cycling thermostat AP3131939 Good luck. Gene.

Thanks, but, the two wires coming down to the assembly seem to be switching, would that be happening if the thermal was blown? I will check tonight. Also, I found the breakdown drawings earlier, I am looking for an electrical one line drawing, thanks. Pat

Hi Pam I found the wiring diagram for your dryer. The gas dryer diagram is on page 2. I hope it will help. Gene.

Thanks for the drawing, that helps greatly. I made a mistake, the fuse was bad, will change both as suggested.
