Timer counts down on all cycles but does not go to the off position, will continue to run until manually turning knob to off position. Replaced timer switch but is still happening.

It does not shut off on all cycles. Timed cycle or any other setting, it will count down but at the end it continues to run until you turn the knob to the off position manually.

I replaced the whole control switch, I believe it was Model m460g ? It is the switch that controls the knob for dryer settings. Thanks

What is the part number of the "switch" you replaced?
Gene.
