That control board is located in the same area as the compressor(where your husband repalced the relay kit) It (the plastic box) will need to be removed from the base frame, openned,and the printed circuit board removed to replace the board. ** I reccomend you install the new printed circuit board first, then switch the wire harness connectors from the old ,to the new, then install the box back on the base frame. ** Good Luck, :) :) :)

My husband replaced both parts mentioned above and it worked fine for sometime but now the same problem is happening do you have any other suggestions on how we might handle this problem.

Thank You Miss Donna, Have your husband try this, He'll need access to a multi meter Part number: AP3873826
At the compressor, when the noise is present, he needs to check for 120 VAC across the Blue wire and the White wire on the overload/relay assembly. I would also check from the Blue wire and the White wire to chassis ground (a screw or bare metal spot on the frame)for the same voltage. As long as we maintain at least 108 VAC on both checks, and since you have new relay assembly and control board, I would have to presume, the compressor windings are going bad. :) :) :)
