I have a kitchen aid refrigerator. Brand new hooked up water no leaks on out side of unit. Installed filter correctly I hope. The problem is when using the door to get water that works fine. But the water also pours out of the ice maker in the inside.
I took the cover off to inspect if there was a leak. Disconnected the line going to ice maker . When pushing in on the flapper for the water dispense. Water is come if out if the ice maker line. Next I disconnected the waterline water is coming out of both. Questions is is this normal operation. Seems that water should not be coming out of ice maker line when calling for water only. Any help will be appreciated.
