I have a top load kenmore washer that makes a thumping noise when spinning. I don't know how to open the front panel so I can inspect the drum as it is tilted to the right side. Please help. Thank you. AL

Go to www.applianceaid.com for info. When apart, check the skate board for misalignment and check for a missing spring, should be three of them.

Thank you very much for your rapid reply, richappy! My problem is still not knowing how to remove the front of the cabinet to get to the inside. I was unable to find this info anwhere. AL

Remove agitator and check the drive block, the nut may have come loose.
