Tub fills right to the top,
and at beginning of the spin, as it starts to spin the water sloshes out.

Drain hoses and drain ok
Have checked the solenoid ok

Have replaced the level switch with new one

the air hose to the level switch is in good condition
the pumps seems to work fine

it seems the level is too high at the beginning of spin,

or the timing is off, the water level has not gone enough or fast enough

any idea's

The water level switch works ok,
the air hose does not leak air,

Normally
after the agitate wash cycle the motor stops and reverses direction
with the reversing of direction to spin the pump starts.

The problem is before this 3/4 of the way though the wash agitate cycle (before reversing direction to spin) the drum slowly starts to spin faster and faster till the water starts to slosh out, just before the reversing of direction to spin and pumping out of water

thanks for any ideas

Chuck

Better description,
I've watched this many times,

Maytag top load washing machine LAT9606AAE will go into a slow rotation while agitating. This causes water to slosh over the top of the tub.

Is there a brake unit need to be replaced?

Thank you
