roper direct drive wont spin,lid switch ok and trans to motor ok.motor comes on and spins but trans shaft not turning.disassembled trans found one of the plastic arms on the neutral drain assy worn and looked broke on the end,could this be my problem.

Slee, Yes, and it most likely is. That end, you say appears broken, actuates the clutch pads and expands the clutch pads, so they lock to the spin tube and spins the tub. I doubt if you need any of the spin tube parts but you are going to need the Brake / clutch kit. Part number: AP3094537

RE-assemble the tranny and turn the coupler clockwise. If the tranny fails to turn the clutch plate, you need a new tranny. They do sell a neutral assembly, part # 388253, or a spin gear set 285362 I would not recommend fixing the tranny as you just might have bad bushings in it.
