Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/25/2010(UTC) Posts: 3		I replaced the heating element ordered on-line. Got it installed and the dryer still does not heat up. I have checked the fuse and have continuity. What else do I need to check?

Still have it..when I read it with a meter, it showed an open. I am getting voltage before the thermal cut-off, but not at the cutoff itself. Of course no voltage to heating element. But, the cut-off reads correctly from what the wiring diagram shows.

Gene.
