Bottom oven temp sensor broken. Oven burns continuessly. Not sure of the part number to replace the sensor. Is Whirlpool part 8053344? Is it the same as for the top oven? I've already replaced the top oven sensor but has its own problems, more complex since top oven is computer controled.

There is no temperature sensor in the lower oven. The temperature in this oven controls by the oven thermostat (#19 on the diagram). - The lower oven thermostat Part number: AP3031566

Thank you for your response. So then I may be wrong in defining the part that I think I need. The bottom oven has some kind of a hard cable attached to something like a metal like stick, protrudes into the oven from a hole in the ceiling of the bottom oven (towards the left side) and arrears to be held in place by some clip. I can not find this part in the diagrams. This part has bent and broken off. Now the oven just burns. That's why I thought it was a temperature sensor.

The part you described is the oven thermostat temperature sensing bulb which is a part of the oven thermostat. So the correction of this problem is to replace the oven thermostat. Gene.
