This morning I went to fluff some pants in the dryer and it worked fine but I decided to add something to it so after tossing in I hit the start button and nothing happened. I had to leave for work, so haven't had a chance to take the dryer apart, but noticed that when I press the start button you can hear a faint hum of power pulling through the switch but only when the button is pressed in. Nothing is happening. No spinning, no air blowing. Does that sound like the motor quit or something else? Thanks in advance for the help!

Since it was working I think your first action should be to open it up and see if something is jammed somewhere.

You can do this by releasing the clips that hold the top to the front. Insert a screw driver or putty knife in the gap between the top and front near the edges. The top will now flip up and you can take off the front, being careful to mark the door switch wiring. If you need to you can release the belt, probably from a service panel in the back and lift up the drum and take it out.
