My Dryer was not starting....I checked the Thermal Fuse....that was the problem...no continuity...I am replacing the Thermal Fuse.....my question is do I need to change the Thermostat Part Number: AP3131939 as well? How do I check that Part Number AP3131939 Thermostat to see if that is the problem as well. How do I check the thermostat for Continuity? Which of the four wires should I pull off from the Thermostat and where should my OHM meter be touching to check the Continuity???? When replacing the Thermal Fuse do I need to also replace the Thermostat right below it? Please help!

If it,s the first time replacing the fuse all I would check would be the dryer vent. Make sure it is not plugged or kinked and that the air flow is good.
