The oven also smells when it is turned on - it's not gas and it's not pleasant. Kind of like the self-cleaning odor, but very strong. The oven is clean and there is no burned food inside. It is this repairable and what parts should I order? Thank you for your help, Lisa  Inbb, The F3 code, would indicate, the resistance of the oven temperature resistance is out of range, That can occur, especially after a self clean cycle. You should check the wiring and replace the oven sensor, Part number: AP4282440
Self clean ovens, do produce an odor especially in the clean cycle, and the odors can remain for extended periods, depending on usage and cooking temperatures. Basically, The more you use the oven(especially higher temperatures) or the more often you clean the oven, the sooner the odor dissipates. (unless you inadvertently used a chemical oven cleaner - easy off- on the liner or door areas). As to the pre heat temperature/tone, The pre heat cycle, is a timed control function, not a temperature control function, you actually have a "temperred" oven, not a pre heated oven. ( it still requires 15 to 20 minutes to properly pre heat an oven ). Hope this answers most, if not all of your inquiries. :) :) :)
