I put clothes in washer, started normal cycle. Washer filled to proper level, began agitating and quit. Washer will not start, will not run at all. I checked circuit breaker to machine, There is power. What could it be. Does the timer control all the running functions? Please help!!! Thanks.

Hi squidman1741
If you post the complete model number of your washer (it's located under the lid) I might be able to help you.

My Whirlpool washer recently stopped agitating and the water won't drain. I played with the timer but nothing happens. I unplugged the switch and replugged it. When I pulled the timer knob, the washer started filling with water, but after a few seconds, it stopped and nothing else happened
My whirlpool washer moder number is LSQ9010pw1.
Thanks for any assistance.

Hi andyp
The first thing I would check is the lid switch.
