The first thing I would do is check the thermal fuse (#7 on the break down diagram) for continuity and replace it if it's open. If this fuse is blown, it has to be replaced together with the cycling thermostat (#8 on the break down diagram). - The part number for the thermal fuse is AP3132867 - The part number for the cycling thermostat is AP3131939 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model LER6611LQ0Gene.

Geno you are the man. Your part numbers did'nt coincide but the parts were right on. I check continuity and it was open. Even the 220 outlet was bad. I would recommend you to anyone out there that needs anything fixed. Thanks so much for your help. It cost me 40.00 and I was a minute away from throwing it out and buying a new one. Thanks again. Mark, Illinois

Hey Geno, I talked to you back in July and you helped me fix my dryer. I have a problem with my ice maker on fridge now. The water that fills up the tray continually runs and does not shut off, it will run all over the inside of the freezer. I have a shut off valve on the back of the unit and it is off but now I have to manually fill the tray. Can you tell me what the problem is and what I need to do to fix it?
Mark

Hi Mark,
Most likely the problem is a bad water inlet valve which stuck open. For the correct part number I need the complete model number of the refrigerator.
Gene.
