I recently purchased a replacment icemaker for my old refrigerator. The refrigerator has not had a working icemaker for almost five years. I took off my water lines and made sure they were clear. My new icemaker is not filling up completely. I typically get a few good ice cubes, but most are hollow. What should I check next?
Thanks,
KP

Hi,
Hollow ice cubes are a sure sign of low water pressure to the ice maker.
You need to make sure you have good water pressure going to the refrigerator water valve.
If you do have good water pressure to the refrigerator water valve then replace the water valve.
