The ice maker dispenser jams up with ice. When I open the freezer door, ice pieces drop to the floor. When I look underneath the ice maker bin and on the freezer door, both are full of frost. When I place my finger inside the bottom of the ice maker bin, I am digging out jammed ice cubes. Please help:)

Hello,

Would the ice door open and close properly?

If not, replace the ice door. It comes as a kit, with the repair video. In order to watch the video click on the part number bellow.

I opened the freezer door and looked down into ice chute, I can see a 1" gap in the ice door. I am assuming this is not properly closed. Would this cause the frost to build up around the ice dispenser?

Thank you:)

It will definitely do it. No doubts about it.
