The ice maker in our fridge has stopped making ice. The sensor arm is in the on position, but no ice. Water does flow to the external water tap on the front of the fridge.
Any ideas on where to start? Do I simply need to replace the ice making unit, or are there other things to check first?

More than likely the fill tube has frozen that fills the icemaker with water, check the tube, and let us know. These models are notorious for the fill tube coming forward out of the grommet in the back wall, and pushes on the fill cup causiing water to back up and freeze
