Removed top and front panel, was able to lift drum to get belt on the belt is still loose around drum, I did not feel the idler arm when putting on belt. What am I not doing right?

Pages from 31-9076 Advntm 120.pdf (103kb) downloaded 55 time(s). The belt has to be connected to a spring loaded idler simular to one of these. The admiral crosley 2nd from bottom left is it I think. To access it you must remove the rear panel on some models. On some their is no rear panel. SublimeMasterJW attached the following image(s):
