I have a Maytag / Magic Chef OTR microwave (model CMV1000ADW). It was working fine until I had to take the door off to repair a crack in the frame. After replacing the door, the control panel will not respond. The display shows the time, but nothing happens when I press any key. I verified that all four door interlock switches are operational. Any ideas?

I have the same Maytag microwave... the clock works but non of the control panel butons work so there's no starting the micro etc...
Please let me know what you think the problem is.

The clock is the only thing that works when plugged in... the key pad is dead etc... when I open the micro door it blows the fuse and even trips the breaker. Can someone tell me if this sounds like a faulty door swith? If so, how do I test the to see which switch is faulty and is it necessary to unplug and bleed capacitor first? thanks for any help.
