I have a Whirlpool model 106.51123210 refrigerator with the main compartment led being WPW10515057. It's failed 3 times now, each failure about a year apart, with component burns on the module at labels "R2/C1" and "R3/R18". I'm trying to understand what would cause this type of failure with such a good length of time in between each occurance. It seems like if there was a short that would cause this it would happen right away. It's getting way too expensive to keep replacing this control module. Any thoughts?
