Hey Guys Im New Here And In Need Of Help. I've Got A Whirlpool Refridgerator That Doesnt Seem To Go Into Defrost And I Would Like To If Anybody Out There Knows How To Manually Start Defrost On These Adaptive Defrost Control Boards. The Unit Is A 2005 Side By Side With Dual Temp Control

thanks for the diagram, it helped out with the testing of the adc now my problem is that it works when being tested but does not work or seem to work intermittently when fridge is running throughout the week. It ices up and I have to unplug it to defrost coil. Bimetal terminator is fine so im thinking just to replace the adc board. What are your thoughts or am i overlooking something here.

Usually I am as cheap as you can get when it comes to parts but in this case I would replace both the ADC board and the Bimetal terminator. The bimetal is not that expensive and you could spoil over the $20.00 approx price during one fault. Intermittent problems are a pain!!! |
