My mom has the GE PTS25LHP Fridge. Just recently the freezer hasn't been working properly. We use this as an extra fridge in the garage. The Fridge is cold 32 and working perfectly. HOWEVER the Freezer won't stay cold. We only use it for extra bread, ice nothing major (that's what our main freezer in the garage is for).

The Temp is usually set at -1 or +1 depending. I just checked the temp and it was at 4 then it jumped to 7 then 12 then 17 then 18 then back to 10 now its reading at 18 I checked the setting and it says set at -5. I have unplugged it let it sit for a few min then plugged it back in and hear it turn on. But when I check where the air comes out in the back nothing is blowing out.

I have never worked on a freezer before but I am very handy DIYer so if there is anything you could suggest to do that would be great.

Is the garage heated? Do you live in an area where the outside temperatures have been below 32 degrees?

The Garage is not heated. We have never had any problems in the past. We have a large freezer that we've had for 15+ yrs and it works great. The one is just an extra. The fridge works great but now the temp on the freezer is 22. When I click the set temp it's set at -1 so for whatever reason it's not clicking on the freezer. Is it normal for one to not work? Or should I be worried that the fridge will go out. Thankfully we just keep bread and a few staples in there so i'm not worried.

Just recently it's gotten below freezing but this is right next to the door to the garage. Whereas the main freezer it closer to the garage door so it's colder then but not by the other one that's not working.

Refrigerators don't heat food they only cool. The refrigerator's temp is controlled from the Fresh Food side.

Once the FF side is colder than freezing, the refrig is not going to run anymore. So the freezer side temperature is going to even out pretty close to the FF side.

If you could find the manual for it, it would tell you not to operate the unit in areas below 60 F and above 100 F. Its not designed for that, none of them are.
