I have a Tappan oven in a rental in pretty good condition, I bought new at Lowes a few years ago. I replaced oven control board a year and a half ago because both elements in oven quit working. That seemed to fix that problem. However my new tenant (of 6 months) says that this oven burns her food, bottom or top. I checked both broil and bake elements have continuity and work. The probe that serves as the thermostat has proper ohms, within 15 ohms. When the oven preheats, it gets the oven very hot, 100 degrees hotter than the selected temp. As it is preheating, or going through its cycles, I hear a lot of clicking, as if its trying to stop or start heating, but nothing happens. Do I possibly need to replace the oven control board again? Or is there something else it could be?
