Denman This happened to me on my Whirlpool Duet dryer just last week. And happened to my brother a couple months ago. You'll fine a video on this website showing you how to remove the control board. You'll see one terminal on the back of the PCB (under the large relay) that is burned. Just clean it a bit and put a drop of solder on it and reinstall the control board. Worked like a charm for me just yesterday. Board is super easy to access. Just remove two or three sheet metal screws on top back of dryer and remove top cover. Control Board is easy to remove. Just remove each plug on wiring harness. Last two plugs can be removed after the Board is removed from the white plastic carrier.
BTW, I think it is HorshSh*t that all these dryers have the same board failures. A new Board costs at least $200 on this website and much more from Sears. If it happens to so many boards, it should be a factory recall.
