Just resealed and put new slides in the dryer to have it burn the wires off of the heating element. repaired the wires and it did it again. Checked the thermistor and it ranges from 15Kohms to 2Kohms when heated. Both the high limit and cycling thermostat will open with the use of a lighter. The cycling thermostat took about 15 seconds and the high limit switch took about 30 seconds of blue flame on the sensor with a normal lighter to open the contacts. The only heat damage is at the ends of the wires connected to the heater elements, there are no signs of over current anywhere in the dryer. Before I replace the thermistor, thermal fuse (I think it should have opened), cycling thermostat and the high limit switch, I wanted to ask this forum for their experience and opinion on why the heating element is likely not cycling and the safeties apparently not working properly.

The dryer has been fully disassembled and cleaned.

Thanks for the good diagram and troubleshooting aids.
The element measures in at 10 ohms and is open to ground, while the control relay is open, without power applied to the closing coil.
The thermistor measures 11.25 Kohms at room temp (70 degrees) and at body temp measures 6.7 Kohms after about 5 minutes of contact, and was still slowly dropping in resistance.
Am I right in thinking thermistor is the sensor used to control the heater relay?
Ran the diags from the procedures you gave and got two codes, 1. Heater on and drum temp not increasing. 2. Selected dryer temp not reached.
