My Samsung Dryer (DV7000 just over 1 yr old) stopped heating, but the motor still runs. I think I've been through all the trouble shooting, but I can't seem to find the problem:

Venting/exhaust free from excess lint
proper voltage from cord
proper voltage through motor and heater relays
correct resistance on the three fuzes on the heating element (Thermostat 3, Thermostat2, Heater)
correct resistance on Thermistor and Thermostat1 (near the blower housing).

Any other ideas what may be preventing my dryer from heating?

If everything checks out OK then all that is left is the control board.

I am assuming that by proper voltage you are getting 240 volts between L1 and L2.

Thanks for the response. Yes around 240v between L1 and L2 (actually it's closer to 260v). Is there another thing I can do to trouble shoot the control board before I order a new one. I am still getting 120v on each relay switch (RY7-Heater and RY5-Motor)

Sorry but you lost me as I do not have a wiring diagram for this unit.

Here is a link to a site with some manuals though your unit is not there perhaps one of the others will be close.
You will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download anything.
