Hello, was hoping to get a little help from you guys. I bought this dryer a couple of years back and it's been pretty good. HEre's what's transpired.
Last week - quit heating, I put in a new cycling thermostat and thermal fuse (non oem) It worked for about 5 loads.
Today - Figuring the cheap non oem parts failed I put in FSP branded cycling switch and thermal fuse. still no heat.
Things I checked today.
1. Cycling thermostat
2. Thermal fuse
3. High limit thermostat
4. High limit non resettable fuse
5.Heater element - 60 ohms
6. Voltage coming in to unit; has proper 120v on each leg to neutral and 240 on L1 to L2
7. Checkecd continuity on timer from blk to red for heat and was good.
So what should I check next? Thanks for any and all help. I'm an auto technician by trade and checking things via 120-240 from wiring diagrams is a little harder for me. ( used to 12 volt negative ground)
