We had similar problem several months ago. There is little fan with motor in the freezer compartment. you have to remove the racks to access the wall and see if the fan is not moving you have to replace it. if it's moving check to see if the panel for the wall is pressing on it. It happened to us, we bought new part and replaced and still didn't work. it was the panel pressing on the fan. and hope your problem stops there. if fan is not blowing, no cold air goes to the other side.

Hope this helps you. now we have another problem that i have to find someone to help me.
Such a terrible product, so many problems in the past, never buy maytag again, even the dishwaher is bad, only last me three years

No air moving in the fridge.
There IS air moving in the freezer.
THANKS!!

I need you to measure the temperature in the freezer. You can use any kind of refrigerator thermometer from a hardware store or you can order this one: AP3549145
Make sure the fan in the freezer is working and there is no frost on the back wall.

If there is no frost on the back panel in the freezer and the fan is working, then probably the cooling system is low on Freon. Such problem has to be fixed by a certified tech. If your fridge is less than five years old - it should be under the manufacturer warranty.
