Frigidaire washer has burning rubber smell.. Belt seems OK.
could you please suggest what else should I check..

Hard to tell, operate it with the back off and see if you can determine the source of the problem. It may be that the basket is loose and wobbling during spin.

Today I tried to start the washer and its not even starting now... I am able to select setting sI need like "normal wash, hot/cold etc.. but it is not starting.. Belt is not moving.
Any suggestions to find rootcause ?

Inside the lower service panel you will find some tech notes that will tell you how to put it into diagnostic mode and generate error codes and test various components.
See if that helps.

I am getting error code E23 when I pressed Start/pause and Cancel buttons simultaneously..
Could you please tell me how to proceed further?
