I have no spin cycle. Replaced the water pump due to bad bearings/noise. Shortly after that, the spin cycle stop working. Replaced the thrust bearing kit, still no spin cycle. Drum seems to be seized, will not manually spin. Any suggestions out there? HVAC tech here, my guess is a bad transmission or seized brake.

I would first check out the thrust bearing and make sure it is installed correctly and that it is allowing the brakes to release.

If the thrust bearing is okay, then you can go into the brake assembly but be very very careful as there is a high tension spring in there and it is dangerous. You will need a brake tool.

If the brakes are operating correctly then the transmission is the likely suspect.
