Got the Compressor fan running after I bypassed the (Bad) thermostat. Can I use any refrigerator thermostat To see if compressor will work. If not, Is there a way to check without ohm meter?

I cannot find info on this unit but perhaps the following should help. Below is a link with info on how to check fridge parts. How To Fix a Refrigerator - Appliance Repair Guide - ACME HOW TO.comNote that even if a compressor's windings check out OK, it does not mean that the compressor is good as it may have mechanical problems. You bypassed the control thermostat so the compressor should have come on when the condenser/compressor fan came on.
