Freezer running at 30 degrees, fresh food at 40 degrees. Notice a few days ago ice cream soft. Removed evaporator panel. Checked for frost conditions, defrosted with hairdryer. Used compressed air to clean DC fan & compressor.Checked motherboard for Ohm readings at J1 of harness for all temp sensors. Ohm readings were between 16.3 Ohms +- 5 Ohms after putting temp sensors in cup of ice water for 5 minutes. Later plugged unit back on for 1 hour, checked evaporator lower 4 coils frosted over. Evaporator & compressor running continuously. Lowered temp selector from 9 to 8 unit shut down defrost heater came on, only problem freezer temp went up. My question is more of probably. I have come up a few conclusions. 1# bad compressor, 2# faulty motherboard & evaporator fan or 3# a small in my sealed system. Mean while I have a frig without a freezer.

If you defrosted the evaporator and the compressor runs constantly and the condensing fan motor runs, you have a refrigerant leak/ damaged compressor.
