I have a Whirlpool TAWS700EQ2 machine. The plastic spin gear in the transmission is stripped. The replacement gear (w/metal pinion gear) is rather expensive $60-$70 (AP3094405) and what I am wondering if a more economical kit (neutral drain kit) 388253, which is listed many places on line for $15-$25 range, will kit my transmission?

there is a neutral drain kit listed on this site that would fit your unit, but it does not contain the spin gear you need. i wouldn't think any others would either, because the neutral drain merely engages or disengages the spin bearing; thus being separate.

that should work just fine, but the fine people putting this site together may feel slighted with the posting of a competitor site after asking there expertise.

Oh, I guess I did not understand that this was a commercial site.
