Good Morning everybody!

First time post here and running into an issue. I have a Whirlpool lte5243dqa stackable washer/dryer unit. The washer will not drain/spin in any modes however it does fill. In order for the washer to fill I would have to hit the dryer “on” button first then the washer will fill. The washer will not drain nor spin still. The dryer will tumble but it will not heat.

I have checked the motor which is good according to the schematics it came with. The lid switch was damaged and has been replaced. Any idea’s what may cause this issue?

Thank you for the feedback and help!

Sounds like the L2 power leg is missing. Reset breaker at AC panel and try again. If no go, then check power at receptacle, should have 240vac across hot terminals and 120vac between each hot and neutral. With no L2 and dryer on, you are backfeeding L1, which normally only powers dryer, to the washer.
