Hello, I need help with my Refig. Model 59675239400. The compressor will come on for a few seconds, then shut off. Then a few minutes later the compressor will come on and then shut off again. I have 124V at the capacitor.
I replaced the compressor starting device and defrost thermostat. The compressor/motor winding checked out OK. Both fans are running and control damper is working. Could this be the control board and is there a way to check the board? Or could the compressor be locked up? Thanks Chuck

No the board is OK because you are getting the correct voltage across the compressor.

Yes that is what it sounds like.

Could be the capacitor but when I looked up the start relay it showed that the capacitor is part of the relay replacement.
