Need help troubleshooting please. No agitation & no spin. Lid locks, washer fills & seems to try to wash. Lid unlocks randomly. Where to start and how to remove panels to check belt etc? Thanks.

Cabinet is not removable. Access to motor, pulleys, belt, shifter, pump...etc. is from bottom. There should be a manual attached to the inside of the front of the cabinet. The shift actuator is a high failure item on this washer design as is the lid lock, but there have been many other problems with this design including loose connectors, broken wires, bad transmissions and faulty control boards. Another common problem has been loosening of the nut that attaches the main pulley. If it is loose, it is recommended to add loctite blue 242 threadlocker to the threads before re-tightening. Suggest you visit this site to learn more about this washer design. With the manual, you can go into service mode to check various things, check and reset any error codes and perform the calibrate function which is required after replacing certain parts. Eric
