dryer isn't heating, don't have instructions on how to find the thermal coupling or whatever it is called.

First check to see that you have 120v coming to each side of the connection block.
Then disconnect the dryer and insert a screw driver or putty knife in the gap between the front and the top near the edges to release the clips tht hold the top to the cabinet. It will then flip up and you can take off the front. This should allow you to get to the thermal fuses and thermostatw which you can test for continuity.
