hi, i have a frigidaire GLEQ2152ESO electric dryer. it started to "not heat" yesterday. I have read that I need to check the exhaust line, someone said the lint filter housing may be clogged (how do I find that) and the less than helpful owners manual indicated that it may be one of two fuses, but doesn't say where the fuses are located. can you help

Lint or other debris obstructing the vent and blower will not cause the machine to not heat, but it will cause the thermal fuses/thermastats to open and not allow the machine to heat.

Open the dryer by releasing clips that are between the top and front at the edges by inserting a putty knife or screw driver. You can then take off the front. You will see the thermostats and thermal fuses, some on the heating element support and some on the front. Test with a meter.

If you click on your model number you will be taken to exploded views of your machine and the locations of thermostats/fuses/thermal limiters.

If none of this is the problem you will need to check the heating element itself.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info, I will open the front tonite. I already opened the top and didn't really see anything. I took the flexi tube off and the line and part I could see into the dryer were clean. I have a repair man coming Friday if I can't locate the problem.
