The other day i turned the lamps on and there was a blue flash ,as if there was a short. Now they do not work at all. I removed the cover and traced the wire, but dont see any burnt section .Is there a fuse that controls this,or what do i need to fix it? The microwave runs fine except for the lamp problem. joe my email is terezina@aol.com

Check if there is 120 VAC to the lights while the control calls for the surface light. If there is proper voltage then just replace the light bulbs. Do not forget to unplug the microwave before you do it. If there is no proper voltage then the control board has to be replaced. - The light bulb Part number: AP2029997
