I just replaced the ice maker filter housing- which froze and broke Getting same freezing situation again after a week. I was told to replace the temp control unit, Sears part #530442 1067. ( On your site it is part # ap2151607) Just want to make sure this is correct as it is pretty costly. I read your posts about a damper needing replacement. So can you tell me which to do. All food in the fridge is freezing unless I drop temp way down and everything gets warm. Some one on Just answer.com told me to replace the temp control unit which is # 21 on an ice make filter page he sent. I want to verify this with a second opinion thanks

Rather rare these controls fail, your fridg. is probably low on refrigerant. Measure the freezer temperature and post.
