Amana refrigerator is freezing food. Bottom freezer works OK, no frost.
Back fan near compressor runs OK.
Digital temp for Refrig and Freezer set to lowest ‘1’.
In refrigerator part:
Damper is at top, 2 vents at bottom under crisper drawers
Damper stays open but I have seen it closed so, it is not broken or jammed.
Do I replace damper?
What controls the damper open/close?
Do I replace the Thermistor?
How do I open the temp control part to see the Thermistor? There are no screws.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
