My washer stops several times mid-cycle. If I fiddle with the knob or stop and restart it, it sometimes will continue on. Don`t know what part to order.:confused:

You might have a intermittant lid switch. If ok, wiggle the timer knob, if it cuts out, you need a new timer.

i bought the timer its not the timer an we checked the lid switch. we think its the controller that controls the spin/rinse/drain

i bought a new timer an its not the part! my washer model # taws800jq1 i need 2 know why it wont spin or drain but it agitates

Does the motor make any noise when it's put in spin?
