Washer will not pump the water out during the spin cycle..sometimes. Have put on new belts. (did to work better) After sitting off for a while, usually I can get the tub to pump out the water, works fine. It is doing this more often. Thanks for any ideas.

The motor seems to run fine, tub turns, belt to pump is new and seems to be working ok. Tub doesn't seem to get to top speed with all the water in it, the mass of water turning with the the tub. Waiting an hour or so, and starting the spin again usually works, outlet hose starts exhausting water immediately, tub speeds up as it empties, strong flow of water out, tub attains high rpms, shuts off.

Make sure the belt tension is properly adjusted. The instructions are attached. Gene.

Thanks for your reply. By pushing on the motor mounting plate, I can get the pump to work. Sprayed some wd-40 around it. Which parts might I need to replace? Thanks.

Did you check the pump belt tension? If the tension is fine, remove the belts and make sure the motor moves freely, back and force, and the springs maintain a proper tension on the assembly. If not, replace the roller kit. - The roller kit Part number: AP4023752
Gene.
