My model number for my under cabinent installed microwave is MH1150XMQ-0 and it took about 15 minutes. My model is white. Open the door and remove 3 screws close to handle positions. With two butter knives slowly pry and carefully remove the black plastic on the door. It is pressed into place but be careful around the corners. As you get close to area near the handle ( where you removed the three screws) the door will separate . The outer door panel with the outer glass is fixed and hinged. The inner section with the screen glass is also hinged. Slightly move these sections apart to replace screw for the door handle on the outer section. I did not have to remove either the microwave or door. Hope this helps.

Hi all,
I've purchased the door handle replacement for my microwave from this site (model: GMH3204XVS, Whirlpool Gold) and was surprised that it didn't come with instructions ;). Has anyone worked on this model before? I think it is a Lowe's specific version of the 3205 model.
Thank you!

Once I got #2 off, I had to get the front panel off - The tabs are only on the top and bottom. Using a knife (dull - whatchout) I moved the plastic, lifting the tabs off the metal and put 2 playing cards between the two to keep tab from re-seating. Did this along top, and botton popped out - rest was "easy".

After removing part# 1805 there is only access to the upper handle screw. The lower screw is behind a second inner panel. I removed the 6 screws from this inner panel, but I can't get it to budge. It seems like a lot of people don't have access to the 2nd(lower) screw. The advice I keep seeing is to look at the video (to remove the inner panel) which does not solve the problem. Any further input from the kind experts would be appreciated. Got a replacement handle from you quickly. Now I have the exactly the same problem accessing the lower screw which is covered by another panel! Help!!

I Originally Posted by: Admin / APP Team Mark, I didn't mention any clips. What I was trying to say was #2, which is the inner frame, clips on to #4, inner door. Your model may have different components in it, but the door is the same. See diagram below: I had also same problem. But it get solved soon by your given solution. Thanks for sharing. Keep updating.
