If so it is a defrost problem either the defrost thermostat, defrost heater or the defrost timer. This page will tell you how to check them out. Note that if the ice is somewhere other than the back wall you may have a moisture problem (door gasket) or the drain may be stopped up. All three of these problems can cause the fresh food section not to cool. Refrigerator Not Cooling Repair Guide
